Mark is an experienced information technology professional with over twenty years of experience in the rapidly evolving tech industry. He has worked with various businesses and state government organizations to update, migrate, develop, and implement cloud technology systems. As a thought leader and innovator, Mark frequently shares his expertise by meeting clients and collaborating with development teams. He holds a Master's degree in Computer Science, an MBA in Global Management, and a Bachelor's in Information Technology from prestigious universities.   • Project Manager, leading development of NEXUS unstructured data Web application, used by engineering to share information with other engineering groups that provided reports, engineering documents, and the tracking of training records. 

  • Ensured best performance of manufacturing support systems by working on development projects and leading various teams responsible for conducting tests on new and existing programs, system applications configurations, application architecture design, developing testing programs and documentation, SQL test data analysis and defining operating standards.

  • Working with cross-functional teams to improve documentation and the enterprise architecture approach, also implementing business rules and definitions. 

 

WILSHIRE/MERRILL LYNCH                                                                   08/2008 - 03/2009 

  • Worked on an agile project as an analyst scrum master focused on developing (.Net) Web GUI architected design and Oracle database for individual financial customer accounts.

  • Validating enterprise database migration development project verifying Microsoft SQL 2008 data production cost tracking system and SSRS report.

  • Application design analysis, data analysis and application integrations B2B Strategic and tactical management in all areas of agile development, System Analyst, architected design, UAT, GUI testing, and developed test scripts for System Analyst.

  • Ensure conformance to standards and improve quality by creating new accounting analytical system that tracked financials for the supply chain Landed Cost. Verifying Oracle SQL data warehouse system and analysis of data using PL-SQL to write script and validate GUI data output and reports. Also, the new application is integrated with the ERP system.

 

Project, STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA, COLUMBIA, SC,                      03/2012 - 09/2012 

  • Compliance project, was focused on application design, process flow, and integrations as lead business analyst on a Debt Financial Accounting, Project DOIT group, and system integration. Responsible for providing project business requirements, creating BPM, user functional architected design, high-level vision documents, and use cases. Also, creating user acceptance testing of the solution to implement the Treasury Offset Program (TOP).

  • Project was focused on, BASEL III framework compliance, gap analysis, and data governance. Data analysis of BAC SOR systems data feeds and product data mapping hierarchy within the bank and data warehouse systems.

 

Project, State Of California DWR, SOX Compliance                              04/2013 - 01/2014

  • Was focused on application design and integrations, working as Business System Analyst the BRASS (Bond Resources Accountability Safeguarding System) Agile project.  Test application access security for protection of financial data and new application ERP integration. Responsible for functional architected design and interviewing the SME(s) to create the “as is “and “ to be” business process models (BPMN) and business requirements for the BRD.

 

Project, TESLA MOTORS, FREMONT, CA                                              04/2014 - 09/2014

  • Was focused on PCI DSS Compliance, documentation, and process analysis. Working with the development team to evaluate the current finance supply chain management (SCM) system. Converting from SAP Sunset System with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 Finance that would integrate with the Tesla ERP system.  Documenting and validating SALESFORCE CRM for B2B and B2C. Responsible for developing training documentation for end users and technical support documentation.

 

Project,  Bank of the West, SAN RAMON, CA                                        03/2016 - 09/2016

  • Focused on FATCA NRA/NRE TAX COMPLIANCE, gap analysis, assist and coordinate the correction of (FIS) Fidelity National Information Services: ST/Saving Time, IMPC, and HX FATCA withholding tax systems, including host and non-host technical remediation, including Phoenix mutual funds money market accounts.

  • Developed complex Excel VBA macro XSD to XML, Spreadsheet modeling and was instrumental in identifying issues and helping to create a presentation that was used to classify the issues and present them to high-level management for needed changes.
